Marion Aquatic Center Holding Puppy Paddle

The City of Marion’s Lincoln Park Family Aquatic Center will hold Puppy Paddle (swimming for dogs) on Sunday, September 9, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. You can bring your canine and let he or she splash, swim and frolic with others in and around the pool.

The cost is $4 per dog, but people are free. Only the dogs may swim though.

All participating dogs must have current vaccinations and get along with other people and pooches.

Event Rules:

  • Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. All participants must sign a waiver at the event.
  • Owners are legally responsible for their dogs and any damages/injuries caused by them.
  • Dogs must have current vaccinations to participate.
  • Humans are only permitted to wade knee deep in all pool areas.
  • Dogs need to be leased when out of the water and restricted to a 6 foot leash/lead.
  • Clean up after your dog!
  • Use caution when dogs are entering or exiting the water.
  • Any dog (or human) showing aggression must leave the event.
  • In an effort to protect the safety of all participants, the decisions of management staff are final.
