The Marion Popcorn Festival will hold its second annual wine tasting and tapas event Thursday through Saturday, September 6-8, from 3:00 to 8:00 pm each day. Known as “the garden within the garden”, the event will be held in the tent in the Poppin’ Party Stage area on West Center Street.
A variety acoustic music will play each day, including:
- Thursday: 3 – 5 p.m. Grace Blackford & Jay Reid
6 – 8 p.m. Tony Ployhar - Friday: 3 – 5 p.m. District Lost
6 – 8 p.m. Spencer Wilson - Saturday: 3 – 5 Jherek Cummings
6 – 8 p.m. String Connection
Admission to the Wine Tent will be $5 and includes your commemorative wine glass. Wines may be purchased by the glass or by the bottle. Imported beers and sangrias will also be available, along with a variety of appetizers.
