Marion Popcorn Festival officials are encouraging residents to help celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Festival by wearing official Marion Popcorn Festival apparel.
This year’s theme, Peace, Love, and Popcorn, is displayed on tee shirts designed by local resident Joan Hatcher. Joan, Assistant Program Director at the Delaware Senior Center, has designed the theme shirts for the Marion Popcorn Festival for the last five years. She has embraced this year’s theme by drawing a peace sign featured on a tie-dye shirt.
Kathy Reber, Theme Committee Chair, stated, “We are excited to offer special anniversary pins, in addition to our tee shirts, to commemorate our 30th Anniversary. Wearing Festival pins and shirts are a great way to celebrate this special milestone and show support for the Festival.”
For additional information and pre-sale of tee shirts please call either Kathy at 740-225-5811 or the Popcorn Festival at 740-387-FEST. Tee shirts, pins, and various other theme items will be available all three days of the festival at the Theme Booth.
