The Marion community is invited to join Solid Rock Church of God In Christ (COGIC) for a weekend of celebrating the anniversary of Supt. Willie H. Sewell, Jr. He has been Pastor of the church for over 25 years and superintendent of the Mansfield-Marion District of churches, which includes Mayes Community Temple COGIC (Marion), Fambro Memorial (Columbus, OH), and New Destiny COGIC (Columbus, OH).
The celebration starts on Friday, November 16, 2012 at 7:00pm with guest speaker Pastor Tyrone Kaiser of King’s Temple Apostolic Church of Marion. On Saturday, November 17, at 5:00pm there will be a night of worship with Supt. Aaron Williams of Maddox Memorial Church of God In Christ, Mansfield, as the guest speaker. The conclusion will be Sunday, November 18, at 4:00pm when the guest speaker, will be Pastor Jerry Revish of Unity Temple Church of God In Christ, Columbus, OH. Revish is also an anchor for TV10 News.
All of the events take place at the church located at 699 North State Street in Marion.
