The 3rd Annual Eco-Art Show highlights America Recycles Day and features art created from recycled and re-purposed items. The show runs from noon to 7:00pm on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at the Marion Palace Theatre’s May Pavilion.
“Local artisans and crafters, along with eco-artists from all over Ohio, will have recycled creations for sale and display,” said Angie Carbetta, Marion County Recycling and Litter Prevention Director. “Come prepared to do some green holiday shopping.”
Items will include recycled vinyl record album art, old wool sweater mittens, scrap steel sculptures, hand-woven denim throw rugs, wine bottle lamps, painted bowling pins, re-purposed jewelry, bottle cap crafts, yard art, holiday decorations, folk art, and more.
In addition to the art, attendees will find food from Stix & Stones Wood Fired Pizza for lunch or dinner along with evening cocktails and hors d’oeurves from Infinity Restaurant.
