The First United Church of Christ is inviting the community to a time of reflection, music and candlelight, poetry, and prayers as well as a time to exhale and relax, to renew and refresh and gain perceptive on the season of light and love.
The Meditative Christmas Service will take place on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 5:30pm at the church located at 326 South Prospect Street in Marion.
“Come on your way home from work or on your way to dinner, for a short service that will help keep Christ in Christmas,” stated Rev. Gale Green. “This service is for people who need to find a time of peace during the holiday rush with a service that centers on the hopeful anticipation and quiet preparation of the season.”
All are welcome to attend and everyone is invited to bring a friend.
