Business Networking, Women’s Health at WBC Luncheon

Is all the recent news about mammography confusing to you? Have you wondered if mammography is the right decision for you? Organizers say you should plan to attend the next Marion Women’s Business Council meeting. Dr. Jeanne L. Ashworth, OhioHealth Marion Regional Cancer Center executive director, will discuss breast cancer prevention and screening with emphasis on the controversies surrounding mammography.

Those attending are asked to wear red to champion awareness of women’s health.

The luncheon meeting will be Monday, February 11, 2013 at the TRECA Building, 100 Executive Drive, Marion. The program is slated to start with networking at 11:30 a.m. Interested potential new WBC members may check out the day’s luncheon for half price – $6 instead of $13 with an rsvp.

If interested in attending the luncheon, you should make reservations by calling Jeri Hartshorn 740-387-6312 or Jean Obenour 740-387-3788.  The luncheon price will be $13 with the deadline for reservations Wednesday, February 6, 2013.

You are invited to join them to see if you would like to become a member of the Marion Women’s Business Council, an organization dedicated to programming and networking opportunities for women in business.

Looking ahead, WBC hopes you will mark your calendars for the March 11 ATHENA announcement luncheon.
