Teens Report Being Robbed at Gunpoint

Marion Police DepartmentTwo teens told the Marion Police Department they were robbed at gunpoint on Friday, April 5, 2013 in the 490 block of East Center Street. Officers responded to the scene at about 10:40pm.

The two teenagers said they were robbed by three black males.  One of the black males allegedly brandished a silver semi-auto handgun, possibly a 9mm. The black males ordered the victims to hand over all of their valuables, then fled the area on foot, last seen westbound. There were no injuries reported.

The suspect that brandished the handgun was described to be 16-20 years of age, 5’7”-5’10” tall, thin build, wearing a black hoodie and red & white Nike Air Jordan shoes.  Another suspect was described to be 12-16 years of age, short and thin, wearing a blue hoodie.  All three were said to be wearing baggie pants.
