The Marion Popcorn Festival is hosting a Spring Fling to benefit the Miss Teen Popcorn Scholarship program. It will take place on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at Primrose of Marion located at 1550 Wellness Drive in Marion (just south of the Marion YMCA).
The event, hosted by NBC Channel 4 meteorologist Bob Nunnally, will feature 2012 Miss Teen Popcorn Brianna Ballinger and her court, Sarah Cooper, Hanah Reif, Jaycee Bentley, and Elizabeth Corwin.
Area businesses have generously donated items valued from $4.00 to $2,000.00 which will be available through raffles, a live auction, a silent auction, the “Diamond (ring) Cupcake Game”, and more.
The Spring Fling, sponsored by Jack’s Pawn Shop and Primrose of Marion, is open to the public and the $5.00 admission price does include appetizers.

The largest popcorn festival in the world with an annual attendance estimated in excess of 250,000, the 30th Marion Popcorn Festival is slated for September 5th, 6th, and 7th, 2013.
