The Marion Police Department says an argument led to a gun being fired on Thursday, May 9, 2013. Officers responded just after 1:00pm to the Crescent Heights area after receiving a call reporting a gun shot.
The officers say they discovered that a shot had been fired following a “verbal altercation.” They said no one was injured, but the bullet struck a large bush and shattered a glass door at 1312 Crescent Heights.
As of late Thursday afternoon, investigators say they had not yet located the person suspected of firing the shot, but are following up several leads on possible suspects.
