Police Investigating Home Invasion, Assault

The Marion Police Department says two suspects entered a home at 971 Bermuda Drive, attacked a man who was asleep in the home, and then stole several items.

The incident occurred at 1:40am on Friday, May 10, 2013. Police say the victim was assaulted with a bat causing cuts and bruises. The items stolen included a 2008 Yamaha dirt bike.

Major Randy Caryer said officers are actively investigating the case, but that no other information was currently available.
