Community Christian Fellowship will hold their CCF Memorial Mission 5k on Saturday, May 25, 2013. The 5K takes place at Prospect Park in Prospect. Proceeds from the run will go toward mission work that will be done in the Elgin School District area.
Registration is at 7:00am and the run starts at 8:00am. Preregistration is $25 by May 15 and $30 on race day. Kids 12 and under are $5. The first 25 preregistered, ages 13+, will receive a free t-shirt.
The church holds an annual mission week in early June, doing work such as back yard vacation Bible school, clean-ups, yard work, building projects, home repairs for local community members in need, and painting. This year they also plan to help with the Elgin schools move.
