Dora J. Hudson age 91 of Marion, Ohio passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Genesis Health Care Presidential Center in Marion, Ohio.
She was born August 2, 1921 in Marion, Ohio to the late Thomas O. and Frances F. (Stalter) Leib.
On July 22, 1969 in Winchester, Va., she married Gene L. Hudson, he preceded her in death on July 20, 1996.
Dora was employed at Ohio Edison for thirty three years as a bookkeeper, was a member of Central Christian Church, charter member of Business and Professional Women’s Club and Alpha Iota of Marion Business College.
She is survived by two step daughters, Nancy Haught of Florida and Carol Calkins of Florida, two step grandchildren, two step great grandchildren, her sister, Betty J. Leib of Marion, nephew, Tom (Dorothy) Leib of Marion, one great niece and one great nephew.
Dora was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Leib and one step grandson.
Graveside services will be held Friday, May 24, 2013 @ 2:30 PM at Marion Cemetery with Pastor Merlyn Winters officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, May 24, 2013 from 1 – 2 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home.
