Knowing when and how to draw your Social Security income can be a confusing and complex decision. Your benefit can vary, depending on your age, marital status, income, whether you plan to continue to work full or part-time, plus other considerations.
On Thursday, July 25th, the Marion County Council on Aging will host the second presentation of their three-part series: Retirement Readiness: Money Matters. A representative from the Social Security Administration will present important information on the different strategies for drawing your social security, to help maximize your monthly benefit.
Attendance is free, but because seating is limited, advance reservations are required.
The session starts at 1:30 pm and is expected to last approximately one hour, with ample time for questions. The Council on Aging is located at 125 Executive Dr., Suite 102.
