The Marion Palace Theatre will show the film “Epic” on July 26, 27, and 28, 2013.
Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation describes the film “Epic” as an animated adventure comedy that reveals a fantastical world unlike any other. From the creators of “Ice Age” and “Rio,” this film tells the story of an ongoing battle between the forces of good, who keep the natural world alive, and the forces of evil, who wish to destroy it.
When a teenage girl finds herself magically transported into this secret universe, she teams up with an elite band of warriors and a crew of comical, larger-than-life figures, to save their world…and ours.
“Epic” stars the voices of Beyonce Knowles, Colin Farrell, Josh Hutcherson, Christoph Waltz and Amanda Seyfried. This film is rated PG and runs 102 minutes.
“Epic” will play at the Marion Palace Theatre Friday, July 26 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, July 27 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, July 28 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $4/Adults, $3/Seniors (62 & over), $2/Children (12 and under).
