The Marion Family YMCA offers licensed preschool education programs for children ages 2½-5. The Explore & Play program (2½-3 years) begins on September 3, 2013 and is on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30-11:00 AM. Kaleidoscope Kids (4-5 years) begins on September 4th and is on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:15- NOON.
Both preschool programs will provide your children with the wide range opportunity they need to receive a proper preparation for kindergarten. Classes will strengthen your child’s social skills with the kindling of new friendships, stimulate their development of vital muscles and brain power by engaging in physical activity, and introduce pre-math and pre-reading skills necessary for a swift transition into kindergarten.
Fees per month of Explore & Play are:
- $35 for YMCA Members
- $55 for Program Participants
Fees per month for Kaleidoscope Kids are:
- $65 for YMCA Members
- $100 for Program Participants
A special discount of 20% off tuition fees is offered to a second child in the same household participating in either Explore % Play or Kaleidoscope Kids.
Registration is going on now with a one-time $15 fee. As classroom size is limited for both preschools we encourage eager parents to register early at the Y.
Financial assistance for preschool tuition is available for families who demonstrate financial need.
