Team Marion has been preparing to ride as part of Pelotonia 2013 this Saturday, August 10, 2013. Faculty and staff from The Ohio State University at Marion will embark on a 50 to 100 mile trek across the state to raise money for cancer research as part of this year’s Pelotonia bike tour.

The team has raised a total of $7028 to date and can still accept donations by visiting pelotonia.org and search “Team Marion” to make an online donation.
Founded in Columbus, Ohio in 2008, Pelotonia is a grassroots bike tour with one goal: end cancer. Since the inception of Pelotonia $42 million has been raised, with 100% of every dollar raised going directly to cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Comprehensive Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute.
Pelotonia 2013 involves 6,682 riders who have raised a grand total of $10,127,350 for cancer research to date.
