Discounted Ride Tickets Available for Popcorn Festival

Popcorn FestivalThe Marion Popcorn Festival will be offering discounted tickets for the Marion Popcorn Festival amusement rides through Tuesday, September 3rd at the Marion Convention & Visitors Bureau, 1713 Marion-Mt. Gilead Road, and both locations of the Marion Community Credit Union, 300 Barks Road and 810 Kenton Avenue.

Sheets of 20 tickets will once again be available for a price of $15.  That’s a savings of $3 per sheet. During the Festival sheets of 20 tickets will be $18.  Only full sheets of 20 tickets will be sold during the pre-Festival sale. This is a significant savings over ticket prices purchased at the Festival, and Marion Popcorn Festival organizers are encouraging area families to purchase their ride tickets early for the best bargains.

Burton Brothers will be handling the ride attractions at the 33rd Marion Popcorn Festival. All rides and attractions open Thursday at 1:00 and noon Friday and Saturday; various attractions require a different number of tickets.

The Festival will also be having wristband days all three days of the Marion Popcorn Festival September 5 – 7. Wristbands will be good all day long on Thursday ($15), Friday ($18), and Saturday ($20). Wristbands must be purchased at the Festival and are good only for the day they are purchased.

The Marion Popcorn Festival is the largest popcorn festival in the world with an annual attendance estimated in excess of 250,000 over the three-day festival. For the full list of activities or if you are interested in Kernel Seats for the entertainment, visit www.popcornfestival.com.

The Marion Popcorn Festival is sponsored in part by the City of Marion.
