Cornerstone MOPS group (Mothers Of Preschoolers) will kick off their new year with their first meeting on Friday, September 20, 2013 from 9:30am to 11:30am at Cornerstone Alliance Church in Marion.
MOPS is for mothers who have children from birth through kindergarten who are looking to make new friends, want to share the joys and challenges of motherhood, and are seeking opportunities for personal growth as a wife, mother, and friend.
The group meets throughout the school year on the first and third Friday of each month. The first two meetings are free to attend.
While the moms are connecting, the kids will participate in MOPPETS, a children’s program designed to provide a safe place with dependable caregivers. The program includes playtime, snacks, singing, crafts, games, and Bible stories. Infants are welcome to stay with mom in the meeting.
Cornerstone Alliance Church is located at 2010 Marion-Marysville Road in Marion.
