Peace Community United Church of Christ will be hosting a harvest celebration on Saturday, October 12, 2013 from 11:30am to 1:30 pm. The free community event will be held rain or shine at the church at 4061 Columbus Sandusky Road South (State Route 98), Waldo, Ohio.
The Harvest Celebration will include a free pulled pork meal, pie sampling, a pie bake-off, children’s activities and a variety of musical performances.
To participate in the pie bake-off, you just need to bring your pies to the church between 9:00am and 10:00am on October 12. Categories will include “People’s Choice” and “Celebrity’s Choice.” All varieties of dessert pies are welcome. Winners will be announced around 1:00 pm.
