Police Investigating Robbery at Marion Gas Station

Marion Police DepartmentThe Marion Police Department is investigating the robbery of a local gas station and are hoping some has information to help lead them to the suspect.

On Tuesday, December 22, 2013 at approximately 7:05pm, officers responded to a report of a robbery at Certified Gas Station, 301 South Main Street.

The clerk described the suspected robber as being a white male 5’8” to 5’10” inches tall and weighing approximately 170 to 190 pounds. The suspect was wearing a red bandana covering the lower half of his face and a black hooded sweatshirt.

Police say the suspect threatened the clerk with physical harm if he did not hand over the money in the register. The suspect was last seen leaving the business heading south on Main Street.
