Barbara L. Richardson age 78 of Marion, Ohio passed away Friday, January 31, 2014 at Morning View Nursing Home.
She was born September 26, 1935 in Delaware, Ohio to the late Kenneth and Harriet (Neal) Brown.
In 1952 she married Leonard W. “Bud” Richardson, he preceded her in death.
Barbara was employed at B.F. Goodrich in Green Camp, Ohio for 24 years as a braider operator.
She is survived by her five children, Leonard W. (Nannette) Richardson of Marion, Oh., Debra L. Richardson of Marion, Oh., Brad D. (Lisa) Richardson of Marion, Oh., Denise K. (Tim) Gurley of Tn., Karen S. Richardson of Columbus, Oh., 11 grandchildren, Shawn,Kelly, Anthony, Nicole, Heather, Betsy, Evan, David, Amanda, Christopher and Cody, 11 great grandchildren, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Alexa, Joshua, Lydia, Brendan, Brielle, Crystia, Isaiah, Jocelyn and Grant, 2 brothers, Eugene Brown of Az., Byron Brown of Bucyrus, Oh., numerous nieces and nephews and a special thank you to her nephew, Tom Brown for his continued support.
Barbara was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara K. Richardson, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
A Family Memorial Service will be held at a later date, the Boyd-Born Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the family.
