The Marion Police Department says that three suspects were arrested late Tuesday for stealing a large amount of cash from a residence. Officers responded to the report on February 10, 2014 that $10,000 in cash had been stolen from the home.
Investigators say the victim was able to provide the likely suspects which officers then located and arrested. Almost all of the money stolen was recovered and three suspects were taken to the Multi-County Correctional Center.
Arrested were a 17-year-old male for Felony Theft, David Dodson, 20, for Tampering with Evidence, and Anthony Weisenberger, 21, for Felony Receiving Stolen Property and a Warrant. All three are from Marion.
The case will be forwarded to the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office for the filing of formal charges.
