The Marion General Hospital TWIG VI Garden Club of Marion’s Spring Garden Fair is set for Saturday March 29, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Tri-Rivers Career Center. The event will include many vendors related to the lawn and garden industry with plants, seeds, ornaments, landscaping and more as well as featured speakers throughout the day.
Those attending will also have a chance to win door prizes that will be drawn at the end of day (need not be present to win).

- 11:00-11:30 Recycling & Reclaiming Waste Items by Angela Carbetta
- 11:45-12:30 Container Gardening by Bob Berbee, Dutch Mill Greenhouse
- 12:45-1:15 Plants of the Bible by Carol Kelly, “The Weedlady”
- 1:25-2:00 How to obtain/contract for a remodel project correctly by Keith Dyer, Dyer Remodeling
- 2:10-3:30 The Landscaper vs The Yardboy: 2 Faced Gardening – Join the ‘Face for TV’, Tom Wood (NBC4 Landscape Expert), and the ‘Face for Radio’, Ron Wilson (WMRN / WTVN “Yardening” Ex-pert), as they join together for this Landscape / “Yardening” Q&A Session, as well as sharing a few of their timely “yardening” and landscaping tips.
Entrance is $5 per person with kids 10 and under free. Tri-Rivers Career Center is located at 2222 Marion Mt. Gilead Road in Marion.
