Patrol: Young Girl Struck by SUV in Hit-Skip

Ohio State Highway PatrolTroopers from the Marion Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol are investigating a hit-skip injury crash that occurred on Friday evening. The vehicle involved has not been located and investigators are looking for help in identifying it.

The incident occurred on April 18, 2014 at approximately 9:00 PM on Schell Drive north of Grandview Drive in Grandview Estates in Marion County. Three children were walking southbound on Schell Dr., when a white SUV that was also southbound on Schell Dr. struck one of the children.

The child is a 12 year old female and sustained minor injuries to her right and left arms.

The white SUV, which is believed to be missing a black plastic right side mirror, drove away from the scene.
