The Marion Senior Center, in partnership with Logos Christian Ministries, will be hosting a Senior Prom on the evening of Friday, May 16, 2014 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the senior center. The theme of the event is “The Fabulous Forties”, and is open to the public.
The evening’s festivities will begin with a formal dinner served at 6 pm, followed by live music performed by the Palace Theater Big Band orchestra under the direction of George Schram. A dance floor will be available for anyone wishing to “cut the rug.”
Dinner will be prepared and served by members of Logos Christian Ministries assisted by senior center staff, and will feature a choice of chicken or beef entree, served with redskin potatoes, vegetable medley, tossed salad, dinner roll, cake and beverage.
Attendees are encouraged to dress in semi-formal to formal attire for this special event.
Tickets are $15 per person and must be purchased in advance. Tickets are available at the Marion Senior Center located at 2375 Harding Highway E., Marion, or may be purchased through members of Logos Christian Ministries by contacting (740) 223-1515. Deadline to purchase tickets has been extended to Tuesday, May 13.
Logos Christian Ministries is a Non-Denominational Church located in Marion County. The Marion Senior Center is a community facility that provides diverse and dynamic programs, activities and services for Marion area seniors age 50+.
