Household Hazardous Waste Collection @ Marion County Fairgrounds | Marion | Ohio | United States

You can rid your home of toxic waste at the DKMM Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day on Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 9:00am to 1:00pm at a new location this year, the Marion County Fairgrounds (220 East Fairground Street).

All residents of the DKMM (Delaware, Knox, Marion and Morrow) Solid Waste District can take advantage of this convenient opportunity to safely dispose of corrosives, flammables, and poisons such as household cleaners, pool chemicals, batteries, kerosene, automotive fluids, pesticides, propane cylinders, fertilizers, mercury, and ammunition (50 calibers or less).  Cell phones, televisions, computers, fluorescent light bulbs/tubes, and tires will also be accepted.

Absolutely no paint, medication, or yard waste will be accepted.

Donations of $5/car and $10/truck are appreciated. There is a mandatory charge for ALL tires ($2/passenger tires, $4/truck tires, $25/semi or tractor tires). There is also a charge televisions ($10/each) and computer monitors ($2/each).
