The Marion Concert Band will present their weekly Concert in McKinley Park this Sunday, July 6, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. Bill Swihart will direct the band in many patriotic musical selections, marches and a variety of other pieces.
The free, weekly concerts are held in McKinley Park, next to Marion General Hospital, and begin at 7:00 p.m.
Organizers encourage you to bring a chair and maybe a snack to enjoy while you listen to the live music. The band always welcomes those who may want to show off their dancing skills with your favorite partner.
The concerts are free, but organizers are always willing to accept donations to help defray costs of production, sound and guess musicians.
