Fans at Slugger Field witnessed a back-and-forth affair throughout the night, Louisville had surged in front with a three-run seventh inning after the Clippers led 1-0 and 4-1 earlier.
Clippers reliever Mark Lowe picked up the win (4-2) despite allowing the tying run in the seventh. Starter Zach McAllister did not factor in the decision after allowing four runs (three earned) over 6.2 innings. Bryan Price earned the save with a scoreless ninth.
