The Marion Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors recently joined Mary Hamby, General Manager of Marion Fairfield Inn, and her staff for a ribbon cutting to celebrate the renovation of the property.
The renovation began in December 2013 and included updates to the lobby, implementing many elements of the Fairfield Perspectives décor package, which focuses on maximizing productivity and revitalization in a modern, relaxing environment. The guest rooms also received updates including new furniture, carpet, drapes, vinyl wall coverings, fixtures and lighting. In addition, new accessible automatic doors were installed and public restrooms were added.
Fairfield Inn Marion, 227 James Way, is a 3-floor, 56-room hotel offering free hot breakfast, complimentary guest Wi-Fi, a business center, market and indoor pool.
