Rosemary L. “Rosie” Williams, age 65, of Prospect, died unexpectedly early Thursday morning, February 12, 2015, at home.
On December 16, 1949, Rosemary was born in Marion, Ohio, the daughter of Marilyn (Axline) Eiseman Williams and the late Frank Eiseman. She graduated from Marion Harding High School in the class of 1968, and worked at GTE.
Shortly following graduation, after meeting at Jerry’s, Rosemary married Robert “Bobby” Williams, Jr. on August 26, 1972. They have been dedicated to each other for their 42 years together.
For her husband and son, Rosemary was a loving homemaker.
A woman of deep faith, Rosemary had a strong belief in her Lord and Savior. She also was a very giving woman, always putting the needs of others before her own.
Rosemary was a member of the Prospect American Legion Women’s Auxiliary.
She will be missed by her husband, Robert Williams Jr. of Prospect; son, Robert (Cynthia) Williams III of Prospect; mother, Marilyn (Jack) Williams of Marion: two sisters: Linda Thacker and Tina Chevalier; a brother, Michael Eiseman, all three of Marion; and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be from 1- 3 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 16th, at the Denzer-Farison-Hottinger & Snyder Funeral Home, 360 E. Center St., Marion. Services honoring Rosemary’s life will also be held there at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 17th. Burial will follow in Waldo Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or the USO and they may be sent to the care of the funeral home.
