On Saturday, July 18, 2015 from 11am to 4pm featured sponsors Scioto Shoe Mart and United Way of Marion will offer families and children the chance to “Touch A Truck.” This is a free, family friendly event that gives everyone a chance to be hands on with vehicles such as firetrucks, police cruisers, tractors, utility trucks and more.
There will be food, games, prizes, raffles and much more. Plus, when donors contribute $5 to the United Way Kits for Kids School Supply Drive, they will receive a $10 coupon that can be redeemed on any regularly priced item at Scioto Shoe Mart.
The funds will be collected and given to the United Way, who will in turn purchase supplies and donate them to the local schools. Additional donations are appreciated and will be accepted at the event.
