Roy W. Chatefield age 70 of Caledonia, Ohio passed away Monday March 7, 2011 at his residence.
Born in Franklin Furnace, Ohio November 21, 1940 to the late Ernest A. and Hattie Mae (Burke) Chatfield.
Roy was a mechanic for the C.A. Jones and Company Trucking. Roy enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting, family and friends.
Roy married Maravell (Chesser) Chatfield and she survives.
Survivors include his wife Maravell, two sons, Emil L. (Susan) Tanner, Eric L. Tanner, both of Marion, two daughters Roenia M. Howard of Marion, Sheri L. Chatfield of Caledonia, two brothers, Clyde Chatfield of Caledonia, Ralph (Becky) Chatfield of Portsmouth, Oh., one sister Nettie Poplin of Franklin Furnace, Oh., ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Preceding Roy in death are one brother Jessie Chatfield, and one sister Nettie Branegin. Friends may pay their respects to the family at their residence 6145 Cemetery Street Apt 12 , Caledonia, Ohio, between noon and 6:00 p.m Thursday March 10, 2011.
