Hank L. Guthrie age 68, passed away at his residence Sunday March 27, 2011.
Born in Marion September 25, 1942 to the late John Bo and Betty Jane(Stauffer) Guthrie.
Hank was a 1960 graduate of Harding High School, he also graduated from Ohio State University, and Southern Seminary in Columbia South Carolina with a Masters of Divinity.
He was Co-Owner of Kay-Lee & Associates. He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, Marion Country Club, GYRO International, and an avid golfer.
Hank is survived by his wife, Janice (Kinsler) Guthrie, two sons, Benjamin (Lori) Guthrie of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, Andrew (Lory) Guthrie of Lewis Center, Ohio, one daughter Dr Amy Guthrie, and her husband Rich Acuff of Mountain View, California, seven grandchildren, Kari Needels, Shaun Kyle Needels, David Acuff, Lily Guthrie, Ava Guthrie, Meghan Guthrie, Nicholas Guthrie, one great-grandchild Kylie Needels, and one sister Mary Blackburn of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
He is preceded in death by one son Shaun Needels, and a brother John D. Guthrie.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, March 30, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Emanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Mark Shuring and Rev. Art Haimerl officiating. Burial will be in Marion Cemetery.
