Ruth Elizabeth Emma Rebber Wulff was called to her Heavenly home on July 4th, 2016 in Marion, OH at the age of 92. She was able to be cared for in her home.
Ruth Wulff was born on June 28, 1924 in Holland, Indiana to John and Hilda (Meyer) Rebber. She graduated from Capital University, Columbus, OH in 1946 with a degree in Christian Education. She married Arnold Wulff in June of 1947.
Ruth was accomplished in Music, both instrumental and Vocal. She sang in the Capital University Chapel choir. Ruth served as organist and choir director in Gillespie, IL and Forest Park, IL, both Parishes where her husband served as Pastor. She was a seamstress and enjoyed completing many handwork pieces done in Crewel, Counted Cross Stitch, and Needlepoint. Ruth enjoyed piecing quilt tops for the Lutheran World Relief Quilting group at Emanuel Lutheran Church. She delighted in the fact that her hands helped make much needed warm blankets for many people all over the world.
Ruth spent many hours researching the family history. While doing this research, Ruth and her husband made several trips to Germany. Ruth loved to travel and wrote very detailed notes about each trip. Ruth was a generous individual who loved her family and was passionate about her faith. She was an active and dedicated member of Emanuel Lutheran Church.
Ruth is survived by, her children, Dr. Jonathan Paul Wulff (Cynthia) of Eaton Rapids, MI, Mary Ann Wulff Lynn(Lawrence) of Marion, OH, and Donna Marie Wulff Scott (James) of Washington C.H., OH., Brother-in-law, Werner Robert Wulff (Marilyn) of Auburn, WA, Sister-in-Law, Geraldine Wulff, Sioux Falls, S.D and Brother-in-Law, Julius Kaduk of San Diego, CA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and twelve Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Arnold G. Wulff, Father, John Rebber and Mother, Hilda (Meyer) Rebber, and one Sister, Ann Marie (Rebber) Kaduk.
Visitation will be at Emanuel Lutheran Church from 2 PM to 4 PM on Sunday, July 10, 2016 with the funeral service beginning at 4:30 PM in the sanctuary. A reception will follow the service. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ruth’s life. A graveside service with burial will take place on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 10 AM at the Marion Cemetery.
