Patricia Ann Clark, age 76, of Marion passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016 at her residence.
Patricia was born February 2, 1940 in Marion, Ohio to Chester Morgan and Virginia (Blankenship) Strause. When Patricia was 5 months old her father passed away. Her mother then married Ivan Pearl Brown who treated Patricia like his own daughter. He lovingly raised and cared for her children as if they where his own.
Patricia formerly worked as a cook at East Lawn Manor and Marion Manor. She enjoyed fishing, playing bingo and in younger years traveling.
Patricia is survived by children, John Richard Coons and Virginia Coons both of Marion; grandchildren, Larry Border, Justin Coons, and John Coons Jr.; six great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and beloved dog, Gigot.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Rebecca Edler, three granddaughters, one brother and one sister.
Friends may call Monday, July 18, 2016 from 11:30 am until a 1 pm at Gunder/Hall & Snyder Funeral Home, 347 W. Center St. Marion, OH. A funeral service will follow at 1 pm with Pastor Grover Caudill officiating. Burial will follow at Marion Cemetery.
