Teens Against Drugs group hosting Day of Hope

Teens Against Drugs will be hosting the 2nd annual Day of Hope on July 28, 2016 in Marion at Marion Christian Center, 1550 Richland Road in Marion. The goal of the event is to promote hope to those suffering addiction or who may have overcame substance abuse but still need some hope in their life.

This year’s event, open to the public, will consist of several topics including drug education, the effects of substance abuse, and the drug culture.

Day of Hope is scheduled to start at 10:00 am and end at 5:00 pm. There will be a lunch break from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

Event attendees will include County Commissioners, Mayor Schertzer, State Representative Dorothy Pelanda, and others.
