John “Jack” Emery Parish 80 of Ashland Ky., passed away Monday August 15, 2016 at Jo-Lin Health Care Center in Ironton.
John was born May 22, 1936 in Marion, Ohio to the late LeRoy Parish and Marjorie Whitehill Parish Brill.
In addition to his parents John was preceded in death by two daughters, Teresa McCoy and Lori Hoffman; and four siblings, Joanne Milligan, Robert “Bob” Parish, Fred Parish and Ruth Ann Waddell.
Jack was a member of Marion Masonic Lodge # 70 in Marion, Ohio, a 32 Degree Scottish Rite Mason and a member of Aladdin Shrine Temple in Columbus, Ohio.
Jack retired from Harrington Law Firm as a Railroad Investigator.
Jack leaves behind his loving wife of 28 years Beverly Conn Parish of Ashland; one son J.R. Parish of San Francisco, California; three step-daughters, Allison Haley of Louisville, Adrienne Clarke of Ashland, and Andrea Manis of Woodbridge, Virginia; two brothers, Richard Parish (Fern) and Jim Parish (Sue) both of Marion, Ohio; one sister, Jean Rall (Tom) of Nevada, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, Brittany Hemminger, Tiffany Hoffman, Mary Delaney-Parish, Nora Delaney-Parish, Christine Clarke, Connor Clarke, Eason Haley, Hulse Haley, and A.J. Manis; along with a host of extended family and friends.
There will be a Funeral Service for Jack on Friday August 19, 2016 at 6:00 P.M. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home two hours prior to the service from 4 to 6 P.M.
