Margaret A. Stover, age 86, of Marion and formerly of Edison, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2016, in Marion, OH.
Margaret was born on September 14, 1930, in Morrow County, to the late Carl and Rebecca (Florence) Bonham. On August 4, 1951, she married Freddie C. Stover who passed away September 26, 2000. They were happily married for 49 years.
She is survived by her two sons: Garry (Karen) Stover of Prospect and Terry (Tina) Stover of Hillard; seven grandchildren: Jeremy C. (Stacy) Stover, Kyle M. (Jennifer) Stover, Sara J. (Kevin) Rekadal, Bethany L. (Brian) Douglas, Jillian R. (Sean) Stone, Molly Stover, and Tyler Stover; and seven great grandchildren: Austin Stover, Gavin Stover, Haleigh Stover, Samantha Stover, Matthew Stover, Cohen Rekadal, and Ila Rekadal.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Carl Mattison Bonham and Howard Calvin Bonham; and sisters: Mary Thelma Denton and Helen Maxine Babcock.
Margaret loved her flowers and gardening, bird watching, sewing clothing, crafts, beautiful quilts, cooking, painting, camping, and being a homemaker. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends whether it be for family get-togethers, holidays, social gatherings, or traveling.
Her family will greet friends from 10 to 11 AM on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at the Snyder Funeral Home, Craven Chapel. 67 N. Main St., Mt. Gilead. Services celebrating Margaret’s life will begin at 11 AM with Pastor Joshua Freshour officiating. Burial will follow in Marlborough Cemetery, Delaware, OH.
