Edith “Tessie” Hamm, age 87, of New Bloomington, Ohio passed away on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 3:30 PM at her home.
She was born on July 19, 1929 in Greenup County, Kentucky to the late John H. and Edith (Corbin) Blevins.
Edith married Charles D. Hamm in Greenup, Kentucky on September 1, 1956 and he survives.
The lifelong homemaker is also survived by three sons; Charles T. (Phyllis) Hamm of New Bloomington, OH., Tim (Tammy) Hamm of Marion, OH., & Bill (Terrie) Hamm of Marion, OH., one daughter; Joann Hamm of Marion, OH., one brother; Curtis Blevins of Bucyrus, OH., 13 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two grandchildren; Kimberly Hamm & Ronald Norris, and two brothers; Earl & Semey Blevins.
Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home Tuesday, October 11, 2016, from 6:00 – 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Rick Cox in the funeral home on Wednesday at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in Chapel Heights Memory Gardens.
