John Allen Pheasant, age 30 of Marion, passed away on Monday October 10, 2016 at his home.
John was born on September 8, 1986 in Marion, the son of William Pheasant and Lisa Mooney. John graduated from River Valley High School and then worked as a material handler for Charter Nex. John was united in marriage to Kendra Carr and together they have two children.
John enjoyed spending time at the lakes and going fishing. He loved to spend time with his family, especially spoiling his girls by taking them to the park, the zoo or simply playing dolls with them. Relaxing to John was spending time at the gym working out.
He will be missed by his wife Kendra Pheasant; daughters: Storrie and Aurora Pheasant; mother Lisa (fiancé Jeff Skaggs) Mooney; father William (Anita) Pheasant; siblings: Ryan (Emily) Pheasant, Raven Mooney and Colton Mooney; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Jerry & Amanda Bollinger; brother-in-law Landon Mabe; sister-in-law Sarah Carr; grandparents John & Thelma Russell and George Pheasant; grandparents-in-law Gerald & Jamie Carr; uncle of Maddex Russell and also numerous aunts and uncles.
John is preceded in death by his grandmother Dorothy Pheasant.
Visitation will be held on Friday October 14, 2016 at the Snyder Funeral Home, Denzer Chapel, 360 East Center St., Marion from 10AM to 12Noon; Funeral services will immediately follow at 12Noon with Pastor Ronnie Massie officiating; Burial will be in Grand Prairie Cemetery.
