Eileen L. Carpenter, 103, of Marion

Eileen L. Carpenter, age 103, of Marion, passed away Monday, November 14, 2016 at Kindred Nursing Community.

Eileen was born in Marlinton, West Virginia to the late Cecil and Delta (Wagner) Gum on March 22, 1913.

Eileen worked for many years at Kresgy as their food service manager and was a long time member of Emanuel Lutheran Church.

Eileen married Michael R. Carpenter who passed away May 15, 1993.

Eileen is survived by children, James Carpenter, Tom Carpenter, Ann Alheime, Helen Gattshall and Rita Pore; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 10:30 am Monday, November 21, 2016 at Marion Cemetery with Kevin Kehn, AIM officiating.
