Winifred “Winnie” Fetter, age 85 of Marion, passed away on Friday November 25, 2016 at her home.
Winnie was born on January 17, 1931 in Marion, the daughter of William Hobart and Mary Louise (Culp) Daly. Winnie attended Harding High School and graduated in the class of 1949. Winnie was a devoted homemaker and in recent years her most cherished title was “GG” to her beloved great grandchildren.
Winnie was united in marriage to Richard E. Fetter on June 10, 1949. Together they shared 51 years until he preceded her in death on November 27, 2000.
She is survived by her children: Connie (Darrell) Kraner, Dick (Peggy) Fetter, Jr., Pam (Randy) Goare, Deb Fetter and Julie (Tom) Hoover; grandchildren: Tammy Alexander, Allison (Kevin) Fetter-Harrott, Kimberly (Jason) Campbell and Lindsey (Luke) Henry; 8 great grandchildren; her sister Barbara Daly and special daughters: Cindy Ralph-Cocherl & family and Ana DeCamargo & family.
Winnie is preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard E. Fetter, Sr.; granddaughter Sara Fetter and her brother Gary Lee Daly.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday November 29, 2016 at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 241 S Prospect St, Marion from 4PM to 7PM; Funeral services will be Wednesday at Emanuel Lutheran Church at 10:30AM with Pastor Kevin Kehn officiating; Burial will be in Marion Cemetery.
