Donald D. Moore age 95 of Marion, Ohio passed away Monday, December 12, 2016 at Marion Manor Nursing Home.
He was born June 23, 1921 in Agosta, Ohio to the late Seth E. and Lavina M. (Circle) Moore.
On April 20, 1946 he married Nannie B. (Sparks) Moore. She preceded him in death on September 27, 2011.
Donald was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during WW II. He attended Victory Center Church of God. He was employed at Commercial Steel as a casting operator for 40 years.
He is survived by his children, Loretta Bundy of Marion, Oh, Patricia (John) Rapp of Las Vegas, Nevada and Donald (Susan) Woolum of Marion, Oh, ten grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, his brother, Guy Piazza of Columbus, Oh, and his sister, Delores Ritz of Fostoria, Oh.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, three brothers, Ed, Gene and Teddy Moore and his sister, Jane Fetter.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 11 am to 1 pm at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow visitation with Pastor Doral Sharp officiating. The Marion County United Veterans council will conduct military honors at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Marion Cemetery.
