Wilma D. Dysert, 99, of Richwood

Wilma D. DysertWilma D. Dysert, 99 of Richwood died Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Carriage Court in Marysville.

She was born May 22, 1917 in Jackson Township to the late Frank and Nellie (Jerew) Marsh.

A graduate of Harding High School, she had worked at Marion Power Shovel, later at O. M. Scotts, and finally retiring from B. F. Goodrich, Green Camp in the bookkeeping department in 1982.

She was a former member of Grace Chapel United Methodist Church and current member of York United Methodist Church.  She loved wintering in Florida with her husband and those years are remembered as her best times.  Wilma enjoyed gardening and going out to eat and was a prolific collector of recipes.

On September 8, 1950, she married Gerald L. Dysert in Larue and he died March 23, 2004.  She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Guy and William Marsh.

She is survived by a son, Larry (Janet) Dysert, Richwood; a sister, Phyllis (Stanley) Meddles, Richwood; grandchildren, Roger and Jeffrey Dysert and April (Kevin) Keiffer; great grandchildren, Alicia Dysert, Kayla (Gunnar) Lichty, Evan, Jenna and Owen Keiffer, and Cole Dysert; great-great-grandaughter, Summer Lichty.

Funeral services will be Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood with Pastor Josh Freshour officiating.  Burial will follow in Price Cemetery.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 AM at the funeral home in Richwood.
