Gwendolyn “Jeannine” Seiter, age 82, passed away Tuesday evening at Richland Manor Nursing Center in Bluffton, Ohio.
Born in Marion on December 3, 1928 to Paul and Ola (Rowe) Combs, she married Paul Seiter on December 21, 1948 and he preceded her in death as did on daughter; Connie Seiter.
Jeannine was a homemaker, mother and grandmother and loved to decorate cakes. She was also a very skilled seamstress and upholsterer. She was a member of the Potter’s Camp Club, the Marion Farm Bureau and had attended Fite Memorial Baptist Church.
Surviving are her 3 sons; Todd (Susan) Seiter of Morral, Martin Seiter and Marvin (Ann) Seiter, both of Marion, her 4 daughters; Pauletta Stoneburner of Marion, Marcia (Vince) Patti of Florida, Evonda (Walter) Hudson of Colorado and Brenda (Ted) Bosley of Morral, a brother; James Carol (Doris) Combs of Marion, 13 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Jeannine’s life will be held Monday at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Burns officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Heights Memory Garden.
