Vivian Lee (McEntire) Swartz, age 68, of Marion

Vivian Lee (McEntire) Swartz age 68 of Marion passed away at her residence Sunday, April 11, 2010.

Born September 8, 1941 in Marion to the late Rollie Eugene and Mabel (Shultz) Manley McEntire.

She was married July 13, 1968 to Donald Eugene Swartz who preceded her in death October 6, 2000.

Vivian was a homemaker who raised nine kids.

She attended Harding High School, a member of Marion Moose Lodge #889.

Her hobbies were watching all Elvis Presley movies, fishing, putting puzzles together, dancing, most of all cooking a big Sunday fried chicken dinner for her family. She was a wonderful, loving mother and grandmother.

The family would like to give special thanks to the Hospice staff and Rita her nurse for such great care. Also to all nurses on 1st floor at Marion General Hospital especially Phyllis, Jen, Ruth, also Chris with resparitory Care and Dr Hayes and staff.

Vivian had seven children, Lisa and Terry Etgen of Caledonia, Ohio, Cheryl Bailey, Bryant Swartz, Debbie and Mike Runyun, Paul and Lori Swartz all of Marion. Two sons preceded her in death Lee Alan and Mathew Alan Swartz. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, thirty three step grandchildren, twenty step great grandchildren and four step children Sharon Davis of Marion, Rebecca Lane and Herbie Holsinger of Waverly, Ohio, Donnie and Barb Swartz, Chuck and Gloria Swartz of Marion, one sister Janet Caulder of Oakland, California, One brother, Rollie McEntire of Oakland, California. favorite nephew Darryl and Charolette Starcher of New Bloomington and several nieces and nephews.

One brother Marvin McEntire and sister Rosalie Starcher preceded her in death.

Family will recieve friends from 4:00 PM till 7:00 PM Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, 2010 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors with Rev Russell Howard and Pastor Brett Glespin officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Bloom Cemetery in Vanlue, Ohio. A Dinner will follow at the Moose Lodge #889.
