Eva Mae Mitchell, age 83 of Caledonia passed away Tuesday evening May 24th, 2011 at Heartland of Marion.
She was born in Marion County on January 20th 1928 as the daughter of the late Willard & Bertha (Graff) Gruber.
Eva Mae was a 1945 graduate of Marion Harding High School and was employed at Gaylord Containers as an assembler for 21 years. She was a member of Canaan United Methodist Church.
Eva Mae is survived by her son & daughter-in-law Kim and Kathy Mitchell of Caledonia, Her grandchildren Jeff & Stacey Mitchell of New Bloomington, Shannon & Robert Ruhl of Iberia. Three great grandchildren and her special friend Jade.
She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
Graveside services for Eva Mae will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday May 28th in Caledonia Cemetery with Pastor Matt Skelton officiating. No calling hours will be observed at the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home.
