Darlene Meade age 76 of Marion, Ohio passed away Friday, May 27, 2011 at Marion General Hospital surrounded by her family.
She was born September 17, 1934 in Grayson, KY., to the late Ran and Myrtle (Elliot) Carroll.
On November 5, 1955 in Grayson, KY., she married James C. Meade, he preceded her in death on March 22, 2007.
Darlene is survived by a daughter, Terri Lynn Tyree of Circleville, OH., two sons, Mike (Sarah) Meade of Marion, OH., Kevin (Dana) Meade of Marion, OH., three grandchildren, Jason Allen Kerns, Joshua (Melissa) Meade, Breanna Meade, three great grandchildren, Joshua Meade Jr., Andrea Meade, Katie Meade, two sisters, Verna Beatrice (Charles) Carper of Marion, OH., Carmaletta (Howard) Butcher of Marengo, OH., and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and a son in law, Finley Tyree.
A Memorial Service will be held at a late date, the Boyd-Born Funeral home is handling the arrangements for the family.
