Harold Eugene Lloyd age 88 of Marion, Ohio, passed away Sunday May 22, 2011 at the Partners of Marion.
He was born March 26, 1923 in Marion, Ohio to the late William and Frieda C. (Reid) Lloyd.
On May 12, 1950 in Marion, Harold married Mary Louise (Himmeger). She preceded him death on July 17, 1999.
Harold was retired from the Ohio Edison Company and also was a W.W.ll U.S. Army Veteran. He had many hobbies such as sailing and boating, walking, tandem bike riding with his wife , Mary, and gardening. He especially loved growing things. The one thing Harold loved most was spending time and vacationing with his family.
Harold is survived by two daughters; Jackie (Elmer) Schulz of Stow, Ohio and Toni (Ron) Fitzgibbon of Marion, Ohio. Also four grandchildren survive; Andrea and Kaci Fitzgibbon and Dylan and Brycen Schulz.
Besides his wife and parents, Harold was preceded in death by two brothers; Walter and Karl.
The family is planning to have a private family graveside service in Chapel Heights Cemetery. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Dwight Hord. There will be no calling hours.
